Enough with my shameless tactics for attention. I shall now get on with the
Here it goes:
We have killed another coffee pot. There I said it. It's in the open now and I can't take it back. I don't know what it is about us but we have this uncontrollable fact about us. No matter how hard I try to prevent it we somehow kill at least two, count them TWO, coffee pots per year and if we are having a bad year we can go through as many as FOUR!
I don't know how we manage to do this because I try really hard to do everything I have been told, use filtered water, use bottled water, clean with vinegar, clean with CLR you name it I have done it. I guess I should just resign myself to the acceptance that my family has a maniacal need to use, abuse and toss aside coffee pot after coffee pot.
Now, I must go to walmart and once again play the which coffee pot am I going to buy this time game. Although after we have killed so many at this point I highly doubt that I will care one bit about the delayed timing feature or the auto shut off option.
Come to think of it I wonder if there is such a thing as coffee pot home delivery? You know, like the companies that deliver your coffee beans specially roasted to your pleasure? They actually have that shit where you can set it up to auto deliver so that you never run out of coffee. Think they could set my family up on an auto delivery coffee pot service? That way we would never run out of coffee pots! What a concept!
In the meantime as I get ready to go to Walmart to buy another coffee pot does anyone have a cup of coffee they could share with me?
I have some yummy Folgers French Vanilla- that I have about 4 cups a day....
ReplyDeleteBut you gotta drive 2 hrs.....
For some insane reason coffee pots seemed to go in my house, too. I've recently had success with two brands of coffee pots: Keurig and Faberware. Keurig makes both individual cups (as in the little cups you buy for it) and individual coffee ground cups. Faberwares make the best coffee ever (I like scalding hot coffee) and is more of a percolator. Hope this helps and good luck :o)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm..
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I have been considering the Keurig and actually just don't want to break down and spend the money on one since I seem to murder coffee pots so quickly. However, I do have a friend that has one he is willing to regift to me and I can't wait!
In the meantime I will have to check out the Faberware!
Thx for posting!
