Things My Daughter Says.......

Me: Are you wearing blue jeans?
Megan: No, they are black jeans.

Megan: We should take him with us today! (Referring to the guinea pig and our trip to the dentist office.)
Me: No, that would not be sanitary.
Megan: True, we can never tell when he will let out a piggie fart.

Megan: Chris said Santa isn't real.
Me: Well, what do you think?
Megan: Well I know he is real because Nay Nay sells him coffee everyday!  (Big sister Renee works at the coffee kiosk in the mall across from the Santa photo booth.)

Megan: The tooth fairy must be on vacation until the new year.  (This said in response to the tooth she lost 2 days ago that is still sitting on my dresser.)

Me: You are a tween now. You really need to pay attention to your body a bit more Megan as you are hitting puberty and your body is going through different things now.
Megan: quizzical look on her face
Me: You know using your deodorant every day, washing your special parts with your special soap etc etc etc.
Megan: I just have one question.
Me: Ok what?
Megan: Where were all these pubety (spelled the way she said it) smells before I was a tween?
